Knowledge Café December Session: Integrating Technology, Nutrition, and Food Safety.
Continuing our ongoing Learning Series through the Knowledge Café, the December session was successfully conducted on 25th December 2025 at the GTA Foundation Office, bringing together participants for an enriching and interactive dialogue. This session was organized (virtually) around the theme “Combining Food Safety, Technology, and Nutrition for Stronger Community Outcomes,” highlighting the critical intersection of innovation, public health, and community wellbeing. We were honored to host Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar Anal as the keynote expert, Professor of Food Engineering and Bioprocess Technology and the Food Innovation, Nutrition, and Health program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. Prof. Dr. Anal led an insightful discussion on how advancements in food safety and technology can be effectively integrated with nutrition strategies to strengthen community outcomes, particularly in low- and middle-income settings. His expert perspectives encouraged participants to reflect on practical applications, policy implications, and the role of multi-sectoral collaboration in ensuring safe, nutritious, and sustainable food systems. Overall, the December Knowledge Café served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, collective learning, and meaningful engagement toward building healthier and more resilient communities.
